1890s patent round bread loaf baking pan or steamed pudding mold, antique vintage kitchen gadget
more photos of this product below
Interesting and unusual 1890s pan for steaming / baking brown bread or
puddings. This originally held two tiny mica windows (one is now broken),
and latched closed for cooking.
It's made to shape two round loaves 10" x 4" in diameter. It's fairly clean
overall, and would probably be fine to use if you could figure out how to
use it, or find a suitable recipe.
It makes a great display piece just as it is, and can be put to use as a
storage piece for utensils or other small tools when opened flat.
