antique jasperware china vanity set w/ powder, trinket box Schafer & Vater Wedgwood blue & white

Turn of the century vintage bisque 'jasperware' china vanity table set, made in Germany by Schafer and Vater. Beautiful deep Wedgwood blue color with classical cameo designs.

There's three pieces in this lot - a round powder puff box, an oval trinket box, a vase for flowers, brushes or hat pins. Vase is just short of 5 1/2" tall, and has the name of a former owner (Ruth) written on the bottom in pencil.

The oval box has a chip to the inside rim of the lid (as you can see in the photo, the china is colored right through, similar to Wedgwood's jasperware). These are beautifully made pieces, with great detail to the designs. There's a quality here you don't see these days - newer Wedgwood is not nearly this nice!
