vintage silver plate buffet dishes, covered chafing dish casserole serving bowls w/ covers

Lot of two fancy silver plated buffet dishes, a little tarnished but otherwise in good condition. The lid on the oval dish is very slightly out of shape - we haven't touched it.

The smaller oval dish measures 13 1/2" long overall, and the larger rectangular dish measures 13 1/2" x 10" overall. These do not have glass liners or baking pans included, and we're guessing they were intended for use just as the are.

These are very beautiful and ornate, and would look lovely for holiday or wedding serving pieces. There's just nothing like old silver!
