big round bottomed woven bowl, vintage camp souvenir Indian basket

Large old round-bottomed basket out of an estate here in Wisconsin. We know very little about basketry, but have been told that this is probably around 50 years old, a souvenir quality piece, not made for heavy use (OK, cheap junk, but vintage junk!). We liked the bowl shape, though it does have wear at the rim as shown in the photos. Measures 17" in diameter, about 4" deep.
