vintage Made in Japan luster ware china teapot, hand painted lustre floral

Sweet old luster china tea pot, 1950s vintage, marked Made in Japan. This is so pretty and cottage chic!

It holds 6-8 cups, measures about 9 1/4" x 6 1/2" tall. It's been used, has some roughness to the lid, and discoloration to the interior.

Painted finish is somewhat rubbed and worn, but in a pleasing way. Just imagine the stories this teapot could tell of all the good times and hard times its seen and heard over the years.
