Large old, early industrial vintage, pressure gauge with an iron body, glass face and brass bezel. It is marked "Double Spring", "American-Schaeffer-Budenberg, Brooklyn" and with a patent date of Feb 19, 1924. We were told that this gauge would have been for measuring steam pressure, probably on an industrial boiler. It is calibrated from 0 up to 200. It measures about 5.5" across and about 2" thick.
This has a patina of age to the iron and tarnish to the brass, and there are some stress cracks to the brass bezel. We haven't tested it.
