antique Sheffield silver plate, meat platter tray & large dome cover

Unmatched vintage silver plate tray and dome cover, not a perfect fit size-wise, but together for many years!

The oval platter is 17" long overall, 13 1/2" long inside the rim. It's marked The Sheffield Silver Company.

The dome is fitted out with a unusual handle removable for polishing. It's 11 3/4" x 8 3/4", stands 6" deep.

The silver plating looks good on both pieces, not worn to the base metal, nothing but silver visible.
