antique 1870s bound magazine folio size engravings, Leslie's Illustrated German gothic font

German language Frank Leslie's Illustrated magazines, a full year from 1876, hardbound. This is a folio size volume, 16 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 2 1/2" thick.

The binding is rough, and this is missing a few pages. But the paper looks very good, not brittle, not yellowed, not terribly foxed or spotted throughout.

It's a treasure of fabulous old images, ads and artwork - and even the type face on the text is amazing, all gothic German.
