rare very early history of Napoleon's Hundred Days/Battle of Waterloo

Rare and very early history of Napoleon Bonaparte's rule of France following his return from the island of Elba, culminating in the Battle of Waterloo against the English Duke of Wellington, Napoleon's abdication and his exile to the island of St Helena aboard the Northampton.

It has a very primitive binding. It has been stitched directly through the cover boards and pages with large stitches of heavy twine. The pages are soiled and rough with heavy wear and some are loose.

We're not sure of the exact date or the author as the title page is missing, but we're guessing it to be from about 1820 to 1840 or so and because of the primitive binding we think it was probably a very small run press (or possible rebound).

This period is often known as The Hundred Days. This book has over two hundred pages but seems to be missing about 17 pages (about 8 leaves) at the end of Napoleon's exile and the beginning of the large appendix. It skips from page 220 to page 237. Also most of the preface is missing. The pages may be tucked inside the book, but we're not sure and it might be missing others.

The appendix includes accounts of the Battle of Waterloo from Wellington's allies the Prussians (under Field Marshal Blucher) and the Hanoverians (written by General Alten) and more.
