Two 70s vintage cook books with tons of Early American food history and regional / ethnic recipes -

American Food by Evan Jones, with more than 500 recipes. This is a 1974-75 1st edition, fine for reading, but not in very collectible condition. The front flyleaf has been torn out, and the dust jacket is worn.

The Better Homes and Gardens Heritage Cook Book with 705 recipes, dated 1975. This is a classic, and a very interesting read.
