big old primitive wood masher, carved wooden pestle for pounder or crock stamper

1920s - 30s vintage wooden masher, almost antique. This is a good tool for grinding in a mortar bowl, or for mashing potatoes, or to tamp or stamp down kraut crocks etc..

This is a nice one, shows age and wear but is still clean and good enough to actually use! Measures 10 1/2" long end to end.
