Beautifully browned and stained early 1900s vintage china platter with yellow apples, perfect for rustic style fall decor. This is about 12 1/2" long, nicely sized for a shelf or the table. It's been much loved and is very worn.
The back is marked Leonard Ott - Fort Atkinson Wisconsin, very likely a milk hauler I think, the Fort Atkinson area was huge in the creamery / butter business at that time. Maybe a store keeper, or coal or wood delivery? Or a livestock sale barn? Lots of possibilities, I wish he'd put another line or two on his gift plates!
