vintage poinsettia print Christmas gift box w/ printed cotton holiday floral hanky

Vintage red poinsettia print cotton handkerchief with vintage red poinsettia print Christmas gift box, so sweet! I can't figure out how this hanky was folded to fit into this box originally. It came to me just folded up small inside the box, but I've seen plenty of fancy hanky folds and I think it would have been folded in here nicely - I just don't know the right way to fold this.

Hanky has a brown shaded 'spot' in a rectangular shape where a gift card was pressed against the cotton fabric for years. Aside from that, the hanky looks good. And the gift box looks very good, too.
