vintage Safe-T Food Strainer kitchen utensil, hand held drainer sieve for pots & pans

Handy little kitchen gadget, a strainer tool for draining pots and pans. This is the Safe-T Food Strainer, a half moon shaped plate to fit on the rim of a pot.

It measures 14 3/4" long end to end, about 9 3/4" x 5" over the strainer. It's in very good clean condition, doesn't show a lot of use though it's over 60 years old.
