crisp linen damask fabric unused vintage yardage for napkins or towels
more photos of this product belowTwo lengths of early 1900s vintage linen damask fabric, 20" - 22" wide. These are intended for napkins, to be cut and hemmed as desired.
We didn't count and see if these worked out to even repeats, but one piece is 20" x 118" (inches), one piece is 22" x 130". These fabrics would also be nice for towels, silverware bags, maybe even lingerie or baby clothes!
Both pieces are shown together in the first photo - as you can see the color is very close, though the closeness of the weave and the jacquard patterns are different.
Both fabrics are crisp with original sizing, never laundered or pre-shrunk. There's some surface soil and quite a bit of brown water spotting after being stored away in a trunk for about 100 years, but it doesn't look like anything that wouldn't soak out with a good linen wash.
