Old hand stitched quilt in a cathedral window pattern, hard to sew, and very hard to find! This looks to be all 1930s-40s cotton fabrics, very soft, a little worn and faded, but carefully sewn, beautifully made.
Size is about 64" x 98" overall. The edges look good without fraying, and we saw no holes.
It has a few spots, and it's very discolored in areas (yellow staining at the center, most noticeable on the back of the quilt). You'll want to give this a good soaking, which we'd expect would improve this piece greatly!
We haven't washed or soaked this - it's just as found out of a large collection of quilts from an Illinois farm estate.
