pair of vintage Snugin blanket clips for baby carriage or buggy

Pair of vintage blanket clips marked - Snugin - Universal Cover Fastener - 122 5th Ave, N.Y. City -. We've been told that these clips are for fastening the blanket securely into the baby carriage, buggy or stroller to make sure that it stays in place and Baby stays snug and warm when out of the house.

These blanket clips are nickel plated and measure about 4" long. We're not sure of the exact vintage of them, but based upon the style of the markings and the address, we're guessing 1910 to about 1940.

They do have two small patches of surface rust.
