Exceptionally lovely old woven arts and crafts pattern heavy wool fabric, three lengths wide to form a parlor carpet, late 1800s vintage. The fabric reverses very attractively, we had a hard time deciding which sides were the front and back of the cloth.
Two of the lengths of the fabric are 36" wide and one of them is about 17 1/2" wide. One edge is the fabric salvage.
This was used very gently, and for a rug is very clean, though it does have spots and soil in areas, and a few spots of color bleeding. You'll want to have this cleaned if using the fabric for upholstery or other purposes.
The rug as made measures 118" x 89" overall. There's wear and raveling to the edges and the corners, and a few darns and repairs to the fabric. Some sections of the center seams are coming unstitched, from handling a fabric of this size and weight.
