old wire egg collecting basket, vintage farm primitive

Nice old wire egg basket, from a farm estate here in Wisconsin. The basket measures about 15" in diameter at the top of the basket, and 11 1/2" deep. The wire has a good patina of age from many years of use, but is in very good, clean, condition.

These wire baskets are very handy harvesting containers for garden produce or hauling fruit from the orchard, too! This is good and sturdy, you could use it as a carrier for almost anything.
