shabby vintage metal cake cover dome w/ jadite green & white enamelware tray plate, 1920s

Lovely shabby 1920s or early 30s vintage metal cake cover with enamel tray in jadite green and white. The enameled steel tray is beautifully clean though a little worn, and the painted tinned steel cover is worn and chippy to perfection - what a beautiful set!

This is about 11 1/2" in diameter, so it'll hold a good sized cake or a large number of cookies. The tray handles are worn with some enamel loss as shown, but the surface is nice without scratching. The cover has very little rust, though a lot of wear to the painted finish, and a mark from old masking tape which we haven't tried to remove.
