1940s food mill, colander style strainer w/ wood pestle masher

Vintage 1940s food mill - an aluminum strainer basket with wood pestle. This is marked Made in USA on the black plastic handle, with a patent number which dates this to 1945. The strainer measures about 8 1/2" rim diameter x 8 1/2" tall. The hardwood masher is good and solid, in very nice shape.
