huge lot of 70+ industrial machine-age vintage solid brass tool/locker basket tags

Huge lot of more then 75 vintage industrial solid brass tags, each engraved with a three-digit number. The octagonal tags measure over 1 inch across with a 1/8" diameter hole. All of the numbers on these tags are a 400 series number (i.e. "432", "451", "464" etc.). The numbers on the tags are not consecutive and there are multiples of most of the numbers. We were told that these were either for taging wire locker baskets or tool tags.

These tags are worn with a lovely patina of age and use.
