old WWII soldier's photo album w/150+ photographs, many censor stamps
more photos of this product belowOld World War Two photograph album from a soldier who we think was stationed in Alaska during the war. This album has about 150 photos as well as a number of photos that were only tucked inside. The total number of photographs is about 160. A number of these photos are marked on the backs with an Army Examiner censor stamp. These photos include, photos of his Army buddies, boats and ships, photos of Eskimos and polar bears, military cemeteries (including a cemetery for Japanese dead). There are also photos of a baby and small child with the censor stamps on the backs. We assume this is his child, born while he was away at war. Some of the photos look to be of his life after he got home from the war.
