more photos of this product belowOld Audel / Hawkins Electrical Guide #6, "Electricity and its Applications - A.C. Switch Boards - Circuit Breakers - Measuring Instruments". It is copyright 1917 by Theo. Audel & Co., but is a 1924 - 1925 printing. It is full of tons of illustrations, photos, schematics and drawings. This old handbook has about 297 pages with sections on electrical indicating and regulating devices (such as variable ratio transformer voltage regulators, regulating relays, drum and dial regulators, dynamometers, watt-hour meters etc) , synchronous condensers, early lighting arresters, current limiting devices, switches and more!
Looking through this book, we came across lots of very interesting subjects and illustrations. There are some great photos of different early electric meters and watthour meters, early oscillographs and ondographs, all predecessors of oscilloscopes used in measuring the wave form of alternating electricity and more.
It is in very nice condition with gilt edges to the pages and a name in ink on the front endpaper.
