vintage medical Textbook of Histology with over 200 color illustrations

Early 1950s medical book... A Textbook of Histology by Alexander Maximow and William Bloom, published by W.B. Saunders Company. This is the sixth edition and is copyright 1952 (this is a 1954 reprint). It has 616 pages and 986 illustrations including 257 color illustrations.

This is from the estate of a dentist who ran his own dental practice for many years. This does have a name on the inside of the front cover and there are underlined passages and sub-titles throughout the book. This also has some brown foxing from year in the dentist's office library.
