large hand-painted sauce dish or gravy boat, vintage Vernonware California pottery

Very nice (very large!) sauce or gravy pitcher, vintage Vernonware from Vernon Kilns (Vernon Kilns / Metlox was hugely popular Californian pottery dinnerware manufacturer during the mid-century.)

This gravy boat measures 5 1/2" x 8" overall, and is in excellent shape, with no chips, cracks, or discoloration.
