vintage Murano glass ashtray, clear cased plum purple amethyst glass

Very heavy hand blown glass ashtray, about 5 3/4" across the bowl. I was told it is Murano glass. It's an unusual shade of amethyst glass (the color of a red plum) cased in clear glass, with very very tiny bubbles.

This looks very nice, glossy, no chips or roughnesses, very minimal scratching to the bottom. I'm not sure of the exact vintage on this one - I found no marks or signatures.
