Antique cloth bound edition of The New International Encyclopedia, vintage 1911, with presswork done by the Unversity Press of Cambridge Mass, binding also Cambridge, published by Dodd, Mead & Co. New York. This is 22 volumes, the complete set, weighs 120 pounds!

These are beautiful books in exceptionally nice condition, printed on excellent quality paper, pages not yellowing or brittle, though nearly 100 years old. The books measure 10" x 7 1/2" and have sturdy bindings, never marked for a library, and showing very little use. Each volume has some colored plates (we saw some lovely botanical prints) and several colored maps, which are a treasure just by themselves. There are also black and white plates, and some line illustrations.
