The Colour Cauldron - The History and Use of Natural Dyes in Scotland, by Su Grierson, with botanical illustrations by Guy Kinder. This is a hard to find but excellent book - published by the author, dated 1986 and 1989.

234 pages, covering Scottish native dye plants (including lichens, etc.) and natural dyestuffs imported by the Scots over time. There are color photos showing color ranges, vintage fabrics and textiles.

This is in very nice, clean condition with the paper dust jacket.
