antique 1903 Wisconsin Blue Book, genealogy, pop. statistics, Grand Army of the Republic

Old antique 1903 edition of "The Blue Book of the State of Wisconsin - compiled and published under the direction of Halford Erickson - Commissioner of Labor and Industrial Statistics" from an old farm estate. This book has 1164 pages including a engraved litho title page, member seating maps for the members of the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly chambers, many monochrome plates etc..

This book is full is information and statistics for the State of Wisconsin and the nation in general. There are detailed census information on the demographics and population of the state by county & town, the size of farms, location of birth, the literacy rate etc.. There are tables on the election results and the platforms of the different political parties, the organization of the state and federal government, biographies of various government officials, the history of Wisconsin and much more.

There are also lists of the members of the State Senate and Assembly, school and University personal, staff officers, companies (size, location etc) and company officers in the Wisconsin National Guard. information on the GAR - Grand Army of the Republic etc.

This book is in nice condition for a piece of this age and type, but does have soil and spotting to the cover.
