vintage french provincial colonial couple chalkware plaques, painted luster

Pair of handpainted chalkware wall hanger plaques, 7" long, a french provincial or colonial period couple in garden settings. These are finished in pastel luster, pretty, and very 1940s! Both plaques are in nice shape with very little chipping.
