Arts & Crafts hammered copper, vintage cigar humidor

Vintage hammered copper humidor, nicely made, with tinned lining inside the container and lid. The bottom is marked Humido.

This measures 6 3/4" tall x 5 1/4" in diameter, and we are thinking it's made for cigars, since it came from the estate of a cigar smoker... although he also collected copper of all kinds, so it might have been for pipe tobacco?
