Lovely piece of very fine pure linen fabric in a natural tan color - this is heavier than a handkerchief linen, but much lighter than linen used for tablecloths or towels.

It was originally a long, straight skirt, or a skirt in the making and never completed. Measures 40" long, 40" wide at the hem, 38" wide at the top (two pieces seamed lengthwise).

Lots of nice early 1900s vintage fabric for doll clothes, hats, a bag or lining, or needlework backgrounds. This is a great color for primitive style samplers.
