Huge lot of lovely fine gauge pure silk threads, some marked twist, others marked for embroidery (though it's as fine as cotton sewing thread, so would be for delicate work, or would probably work well for machine embroidery today).

The sheen on this is beautiful, you can tell as a glance or a touch that it's silk. The colors are so rich and deep, like jewels. Some of spools have just a little thread, or even a re-wound saved thread from a bobbin. We've collected it all here, even the little bits were too pretty to throw away.
