Large antique hand crank bench grinder with an adjustable tool rest. It will clamp on to any work surface.

This bench grinder is made by the Luther Grinder Mfg Co of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is marked as The Luther Lines -Dimo-Grit Tool Grinders. It is a No. 5M - model 18. It still has the original label tag and is marked with a US patent date of October 17, 1911.

The gearbox of this grinder is about 10" across the grinding wheel is about 7" across. It has worn old green paint. It has a patina of age, old grease and a little light rust.
