Primitive old hand cranked grinding wheel or sharpener from an old farm estate. This grinder would clamp a work bench or table for sharpening knives, shears, scissors and tools around the farm and kitchen. This has a wood handle on the hand crank. The grinding wheel is aluminum-oxide and measures about 4 inches across. The grinder measures about 9 inches high overall.

This grinder is in good running condition with a patina of age and orange-red paint.
