primitive old farm dairy tool, milk & cream can churn dasher stirrer rod

Heavy steel stirring rod with a long handle, a dasher made to agitate milk and cream in milk cans. These were used on dairy farms and in old creameries many years ago to help cool and stir up the milk.

This one is about 5" across the dasher, and measures 25" long overall (sized for a 10 gallon milk can). It's a little rusty on the surface, but solid yet.
