primitive vintage wire basket, old farm pail produce or tool bucket

Heavy wire basket with a 'bucket' shape, 11" tall overall, 7 1/2" deep. It's 8 1/2" across the rim of the basket, which is bent and not in round.

This is out of a farm woodshed / tool shed, and we aren't sure what it's original purpose was - but we love the small size and irregular shape, very primitive!
