old Steel Case hand cranked tool grinder or sharpener w/clamping base

Old Steel Case brand hand crank grinder or tool and knife sharpener. This grinder is marked -with Bronze Bearings- and it carriers a US patent number from 1938. It measures about 5" high and 2 3/4" across the aluminum oxide grinding wheel.

This turns well, but it does have some light rust.
