big old heavy steel safety pins, industrial style laundry or blanket pins

Lot of two really big heavy steel safety pins, about 3 1/4" long end to end. The 'pins' are as big as nails! These were probably made for laundry or blanket pins, I think. They're still functional, though they have finish wear and a little surface rust.
