antique mid 1800s leather bound Methodist Episcopal religious handbook

Antique pocket size religious handbook... The Doctrines and Discipline of the Methodist Episcopal Church - dated 1948.

This measures 5" x 3" and has an inscription on the front end paper dated 1832 (we think?) and the leather binding is worn and cracked at the spine.
