vintage fishing landing net, large bent wood frame for netting - antique sporting equipment

This nice old wood framed fish net came right out of an estate on the banks of the Baraboo river, we were told it's a 'dip net' for trout fishermen. There's no netting left on the frame, and there's just a short length of metal for a handle.

The wood net frame looks good, not weathered or worn. It measures 17 1/2" wide, 28" long over the wood, 38" long end to end including the handle.
