antique adjustable rug or carpet measure wood & brass 5'-2'' to 10'

Long antique adjustable measuring rod with solid brass fittings and clamp. This is from the estate of a man who worked installing rugs and carpets for many years.

This telescopes from about 5 feet, 2 inches up to about 10 feet. It is 1" wide and has a steel hook on one end.

The brass is tarnished and the wood is heavily worn and the marking on the ruler are faint over much of the measure. The wood also has some staining in areas.
