antique embossed brass light fixture, early 1900s vintage electric lighting flush mount ceiling light

Original antique light fixture, ornate solid brass, truly lovely! It's in as found condition with heavy layers of old paint flaking off of it all over. The brass underneath is nice and bright gold, no tarnish, no stress cracks.

It's 8" in diameter across the base of the fixture, and 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" at the fitter (the rim is rolled, so it's 3 1/4" across the center at that point, but probably holds a 3 1/2" fitter shade tipped into place).
