old English brass bucket for fireplace hearth tools or fire wood, vintage coal bucket

Vintage embossed brass bucket for a coal scuttle or the fireplace hearth, to hold firewood or fireplace tools. It's a nice big one (11" x 12") and would also make a good wastebasket or trash can.

The green paint on the interior is worn, and there's tarnish and soot to the brass. We've left it just as we've found it, it's perfectly lovely!
