small solid brass tongs w/ gothic style bird foot or claws shape, vintage Halloween

Wonderfully gothic style vintage tongs with claw or bird talons shape, and a great rustic patina. These are marked India.

These tongs I think were originally plated, but it's just plain solid brass now, rather tarnished. Measures about 7 1/4" long end to end. They'd be great on a Halloween table!
