vintage brass owl sewing helper chatelaine, pincushion w/ tiny scissors

1970s vintage Ardalt - Taiwan brass or brass plated owl pincushion with scissors eyes. This is a cute decorative piece for a sewing box or collection of sewing tools - but in fact the scissors works very poorly, they aren't steel.

Also I could not get this little guy to stand unaided, he lays flat on his back very well! Measures about 4 1/4" tall overall.
