vintage etched brass punch bowl, large chalice shaped pedestal vase or fruit dish

Beautifully tarnished old brass bowl, 9 1/2" in diameter x 10" tall overall. This is tin lined, so we're guessing it was made as a punch bowl. We think it was be fabulous holding fruit, or greenery and flowers.

It's spotted with dark tarnish inside and out, and the tinning shows wear and spotting. We've left this just as we found it, it hasn't been polished.
