vintage golden brass treasure chest trunk, embossed tooled metal box

Unmarked vintage brass covered box, possibly English, we think? This is beautiful, like a golden treasure chest! It's perfect for storing kindling and wood for the fireplace, since it's all metal.

It measures 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 13 1/2" tall. The brass is bright without much tarnishing, though the steel interior and trunk back have some rust spotting.
