vintage solid brass bell w/ flying eagle, ship's table service call bell

1870s vintage "Our Country" US history books. These books are worn, covers spotted, joints cracked. And we don't believe this is a complete set - it's just two big volumes, I and II.

These are large (about 9 1/2" x 7 1/4"), and are a treasure of nice old illustrations, scenes from American history. Lovely stuff for mixed media or other altered art.
